Hello all, just a quick question. I was on vacation in Arizona and I couldn't figure out how to change my home location to where I was on Arizona time for reporting purposes. Does anyone know how to switch your home.location? Thanks for any help.

When we go to Florida for a few months we just go on Florida Gas Buddies & post the price down there & answer the same questions I answer on New Jersey.

FYI, this is covered in FAQ #40. (The short answer, already given, is "ask a moderator to do it for you". I believe the best way to do that is through the PM system, by clicking the envelope icon at the top right of any GasBuddy page.)

The only reason I was asking was because I am in the military and I am getting out soon to head back to my home state and was seeing if it was a simple change on my part. But thanks for your reply Plastic.

Why would you want to change your home site if you are going on vacation? You can log onto any site using your current username and password and report prices.

plastic - You can report prices anywhere in the US, from any site in the US by using the map.

If you are on vacation there is no need to change your home site. You can post on any Gas Buddy site.

The only way to change your home location is to contact the moderators and request the change. You would not change the location for a short duration such as a vacation.

What you should have done was sign in to the local Arizona gasprices site. That way you would be in the correct time and you could post the local prices.

So, how were you posting prices through the North Carolina site while you were in Arizona?
